(The) Writer's Mind: Sketches of "Recent" events
Based on the list of strengths that you have generated (which may include information from those you have interviewed), you are to write out a series of sketches of recent events during which the strength in question "showed up." By "recent" I mean an event that occurred within the past month.
Each sketch should be at least 100 words, but no more than 250 words, and you should aim to write these sketches "in-scene."
Title each sketch creatively: do not label the sketch with the strength you think you are demonstrating. Write it so that your readers will experience the strength in conflict with the scene. Let your reader see the strength in their interpretation of the sketch.
You may develop one of these sketches to become your second "recent" narrative, which is at least two full pages (500 words), written in-scene (setting, characterization, and dialogue). Or if you developed two good recent narratives from your Observation, then you may still find ways to incorporate material you generate here in your Lyric.
